Cassie and Mike got married at the St. Regis Houston Hotel. The brides mom Lori shared some of her favorite details and moments from the wedding with us!
“The winter wonderland feel was directly related to the time of year. As the “theme” developed, the bride used Pinterest as well as other top international wedding planners for inspiration. Lots of lights and candle light interspersed with beautiful colors of white and silver accents inspired the occasion.
Cassie was determined for her wedding to be elegant but not traditional. Her Reem Acra gown included a lace embroidered strapless sweetheart neckline with billowing layers of organza and a corset laced illusion back. Mike wore a navy tuxedo with a black shawl lapel.
For the ceremony, the 14 groomsmen came down the aisle in a “pack” representing their close longtime friendship to one another and to the groom.
Cassie was particularly touched to have the chance to dance with her 88 year old grandfather who actually designed and crafted the gold wedding band she was married in.
Mike and his grandmother danced to “dancing in the dark” by Bing Crosby, the song he danced on her feet to when he was a little boy.
Rexberry Events, Davis Rexroat and Sean Raspberry, were helpful interpreting the brides’ desires throughout the wedding planning process.”
